Darryl Frank is a producer and writer who will be working on Fatal Attraction (TV Series) as an executive producer.
General overview[]
Frank is the Co-President of Amblin Television, where he oversees all development, production, and programming for Steven Spielberg's television production company. Frank has worked alongside longtime friend and business partner, Justin Falvey, for the past twenty years at Amblin (formerly Dreamworks Television) and serves as executive producer on all of Amblin's projects. [1]He began his career in 1992 as a production assistant on the Penelope Ann Miller comedy The Gun in Betty Lou's Handbag. The following year he worked his way up to second assistant director on The Adventures of Huck Finn. In this capacity, he worked on a variety of genres from the action-adventure Super Mario Bros., to the family comedy My Father the Hero, and the made-for-TV dramedy Runaway Daughters. He later worked for CBS Productions in Series Development. In 1995, he became a development and programming executive at DreamWorks Television, where he helped develop the Michael J. Fox sitcom Spin City. It was at DreamWorks that he developed the science-fiction miniseries Taken, which he co-executive produced in 2002. His work on the acclaimed miniseries won him an Emmy in 2003. While functioning as an executive at DreamWorks Television, Frank served as a producer on a variety of projects from the news show parody Dog Bites Man, to the sizzling TV drama Las Vegas, to the reality competition series The Contender, to the western miniseries Into the West, which earned Frank much acclaim including an Emmy nomination.[2]
